Ich habe gestern das Konzert von Ayumi Hamasaki besucht. Es war mal wieder großartig.

Ayu hat nach meiner Zeitnehmung 3 Stunden und 15 Minuten gespielt. Bis viertel nach neun. Anfang um 18:00 Uhr(Einlass verspätet).

Am 31.12.08 hat sie von 22:10 Uhr bis 01:40 Uhr gespielt. Das sind 3 Stunden und 30 Minuten.

Sie hat meistens das Mikrofon in der rechten Hand gehalten, trotz Operation. Dafür hatte sie extra einen Handschuh an, der geriffelt war.

Please don’t be concerned, feel peace of mind, and just enjoy watching.

And… I can say this without any fear of misunderstanding: Countdown Live is going to be the best show in the entire world.

One last thing.

Everyone was kind enough to write an incredible number of messages in Zin and Peco’s blogs, and I took care to read all of them, one after the other.

　平成20年12月26日、当社ホームページにて公表しておりますとおり、当社所属アーティスト：浜崎あゆみが右手を負傷し、治療を続けてまいりましたが、回復には向かっているものの、依然として状況は思わしくありません。

Today, everyone, I have something unfortunate that I need to tell you.

The day before yesterday, due to fatigue from overwork, I became anemic, and as a result, I fell down from very high up.
Consequently, I’ve suffered an injury to my right hand.

Yesterday was pretty crazy, I actually went under the knife, and I must say it was very painful, but I was told to take it easy for the next three weeks.

The surgery…. was incredibly scary.

But the doctor who did the surgery smiled and said “It’s all okay now,” and at that moment my tension went away instantly. I felt like I was going to cry.

Everyone’s power is definitely reaching me.

I’m feeling soooo much incredible, strong, kind, precious, dazzling power.

I think perhaps that after everything God has handed me at the last moment this year, our bond may have grown deeper.

Tomorrow is dress rehearsal.

Even though I’m this version of myself, who can’t hold onto a microphone well enough, tomorrow I want to turn myself into someone putting on a magnificent show at Yoyogi, with my usual smile, with my usual staff.

We began to shine, I think no one can stop us from doing anything!!!

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki, 30, has injured her right hand, and with only four days to go until NHK’s Red and White Singing Contest, she is in a race against time to recover and take to the stage to lead off the New Year’s Eve show. NHK announced Friday the order of songs for New Year’s Eve, and it would be the first time in the show’s history if the opening artist were to be unable to perform.

According to her agency Avex Group, Hamasaki fell down the stairs at her apartment on Wednesday and injured her right hand. Staff took her to hospital where she received medical attention, and on Thursday she underwent surgery. Hamasaki later had to cancel her live performance at TV Asahi’s “Music Station Super Live 2008” on Friday night. Her doctors say the injury will take three weeks to heal, and her fall was caused by anemia exacerbated by fatigue.

Hamasaki wrote on her blog: “I can’t even hold a microphone. I’m really upset and truly sorry I couldn’t make it to ‘Music Station.’” In addition to the Red and White Singing Contest, she is scheduled to perform on the 30th and 31st at Yoyogi National Stadium. “I just have to believe in my strength, and hope my body can heal before then,” she wrote.

Shin Ishihara, chief producer of the Red and White Singing Contest, said: “We wanted to open the show in a certain style and Hamasaki was going to do that for us. But now we’ll have to wait and see.”

Rehearsals will be held on Monday, where it will become clear if Hamasaki will open the New Year’s Eve show as scheduled.

歌手の浜崎あゆみが２６日夜に予定したテレビ朝日「ミュージック・ステーション・スーパーライブ」の生出演 を取りやめた。右手に大ケガを負い、全治３週間と診断されたという。この日は、１０回目の出場を決めている ＮＨＫ「紅白歌合戦」の曲順発表があり、トップバッターで歌うことが発表された。ただ、浜崎は「マイクを持 てない」としており、ＮＨＫは“代役案”も含めて検討する。

紅白本番まであと４日。前代未聞のトップバッター不在という事態が起こる可能性も出てきた。

所属するエイベックスによると、浜崎はクリスマスイブの２４日に自宅の階段で貧血を起こして転落。その際 に右手を負傷し、翌２５日に手術を受けた。ケガの詳しい内容は明かしていない。浜崎は２６日に自身のブログ で「マイクを持つことすらできない状態」と説明。貧血は過労が原因で、医師から全治３週間と診断されたとい う。

Pop star Ayumi Hamasaki has suffered an injury to her right hand. According to her agency, she fell down some stairs on Christmas Eve due to anemia. She underwent an emergency operation on Christmas Day, but it said that the injury will take about three weeks to completely heal.
